Come learn how to plant a tree in North Texas on October 1st at 2pm at the W.T. Cozby Library, 177 Heartz Rd. in Coppell. Free class with expert Urban Forester! After a discussion of tree planting, we will move outside and plant a tree on the library grounds. You won't want to miss this exciting event! Micah Pace, the Dallas Regional Urban Forester for the Texas Forest Service will be leading the event. He has studied and worked in forestry in the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast of the United States as well as having international natural resource management experience in Ecuador, S.A.. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Forestry from the University of Maine.
