The Coppell Community Garden has been established as a outdoor learning site for sustainable living through the following means:
Self-Guided Tours- The community gardens are open to the public as live demonstrations of organic vegetable gardening, composting, and drought tolorant landscapes. Take pictures, enjoy a seat on a bench, draw, bring your friends, BUT NEVER PICK as to respect the gardeners efforts in donating to the food pantry.
Guided Tours- Groups can arrange tours of the garden for a garden club, scout troop, school groups, new community garden start-ups, or meet-ups. Offered by appointment by contacting the Garden Leaders at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Ultimate Emersion- Volunteer to adopt a plot for a year and learn from the being in connection with the community gardeners. This is the best way to learn the most about organic gardening, raising vegetables, and composting and it lots of fun along the way. For more information to adopt a plot, click here.
Environmental Education Series- The Environmental Education Committee offers many classes throughout the year on sustainable living topics. For more information about these classes click here.
